OBITUARY - MERRILL C. "FUZZ" WISSINGER - Indiana Gazette 10-21-1987 Wednesday

MERRILL C. "FUZZ" WISSINGER, 81, Kittanning RD 1, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1987, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A son of Winnelt D. and Minnie Calhoun Wissinger, he was born Jan. 26, 1906, in Blairsville. Mr. Wissinger was a member of the Whitesburg United Methodist Church. He was owner and operator of Wissinger's Service Station in Whitesburg and was a mechanic at the Ford garage in Kittanning. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Myrtle Burrows Wissinger; two sons. Earl and Eugene, Kittanning RD 1; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth C. and Edward, Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Clark Chapel, Elderton, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. James Hodges will officiate with interment in the Whilesburg Methodist Cemetery.
