OBITUARY :
JOHN IRA BLUBAUGH, aged 89 years, died at 11:30 o'clock yesterday morning of a heart attack. The contributory cause of Mr. Blubaugh's death was pneumonia which developed Tuesday.

He was a molder by trade and was employed in the local shops until about 15 years ago.

He was born at Tomstown, the son of Henry and Alice (Knepper) Blubaugh, and spent his entire life in that section.

His wife, Elisabeth Mentzer Blubaugh, died several years ago.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Clarence Noll, Henry Blubaugh, Merle Blubaugh, Waynesboro; Jacob Blubaugh, Fairview; Mrs. James Secrist, Good's Siding; Chauncey, Mary, Hilda and Anna, Tomstown. His mother, Mrs. Alice Blubaugh, Tomstown; a brother, B. F. Blubaugh, Baltimore, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Riley, Washington, D.C. and 11 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the home of a son, Chauncey Blubaugh, Tomstown, with further services at 2 o'clock at the Blue Rock United Brethren Church. Interment will be made in the Quincy cemetery.

The body may be viewed at the home of Chauncey Blubaugh from 7 to 9 Friday evening.
