Father of Daisy (Dowdell), John W, Greely, Della (Highland-Porter), Maggie (Dowdell), Schuyler, and Luri. Most of the family, including the Dowdells from this area ended up in the Hammond area of Lake County, IN.

I still haven't figured out exactly how he was related to Amos Grubbs, but Amos' son Elmer and wife Ethyl attended Shuyler's daughters wedding in Hammond. I'd guess Thomas & Amos were brothers. I'm still waiting on a family member to confirm this.
