August 5, 1910, in Hyndman, a son of Edward and Lucinda Shroyer. He was married to the former Ruby Thomas who preceded him in death.
Surviving is a son, Harry, of Hyndman; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Leydig, of Hyndman; two brothers, Walter, of R.D. 1, Buffalo Mills; and James, of R.D. 1, Hyndman; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Boyer, of R.D. 1, Hyndman; and Mrs. Pauline Ringler, of Hyndman; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Shroyer was a retired employee of the Cumberland Cement and Supply Company in Cumberland. He was a member of
the Pentecostal Church in Hyndman, and a member of the Oscar Jordan Post 7375 VFW in Hyndman. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 17, in the Zeigler Funeral Home in Hyndman, with Rev. James Hodges, officiating, with burial in the Lybarger Cemetery.
