Hyndman, PA – Harry E. Shroyer, 77, of Hyndman passed away Thursday December 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born December 10, 1938 in Hyndman; he was a son of the late William and Ruby (Thomas) Shroyer. He was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony W. Shroyer in 1959.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy (Manges) Shroyer whom he married February 9, 1957; sons, David Shroyer and partner Sheri of New Paris, Kevin Shroyer and wife Stacy of OH, Anthony G. Shroyer; a daughter, Vickie D. Shroyer and fiancée, Paul Hendrickson, a sister, Shirley Leydig all of Hyndman and his faithful canine companion, Dolly.
Harry was an Equipment Operator for PennDot for from 1963 to 2001. He was a member of the Hyndman Rod and Gun Club, Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club, the National Rifle Association and AFSCM.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
