BUFFALO MILLS, Pa. — Mrs. Josie Ann Smith, 69, of here, died yesterday at her residence. Born in Hyndman. she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lucinda Shroyer. She was a
member of the Pentecostal Church of Hyndman. Surviving are her husband, Edward H. Smith; seven sons, Earl Smith, Ellerslie; Homer Smith, LaVale; Charles and W. Lee Smith, both of here; Carl Smith, Meyersdale; Glenn Smith, Wyandotte, Mich., and Roy E. Smith, Jennerstown, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Marcella Elliott, Wyandotte; Mrs. Betty Hagen, Bedford, and Mrs. Linda Holler, of here; three brothers, Walter Shroyer, of here, and Roy Shroyer and Daniel Shroyer, both of Hyndman; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Boyer and Mrs. Pauline Ringler, both of Hyndman, 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman. A service will be conducted at the funeral home Sunday at 1 p.m. Rev. James Hodges will officiate, and interment will be in Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 14, 1973.
