Pauline Ringler, 82, of Locust Street, Hyndman, died on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at WMHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland. She was born, May 12, 1920, in Londonderry Township, Bedford County, the last surviving child of the late Edward F. and Lucinda Rella (Shroyer) Shroyer. She was also preceded in death by Henry Wiant Ringler, her husband of 55 years, in 1993, and by four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are these sons: C. Edison "Eddie" and wife Linda (Bruner), of Rawlings, Md., H. Allen and wife Alice Fay (Shaffer), Harvey Dale and wife, Sara-Ellen (Bruner), and Larry Lee, all of Hyndman, and a daughter, M. Gale Hartman and husband, Gary Lee, of Fairfax, Virginia. Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ringler was a homemaker, and member of Christ Lutheran Church at
Madley. She was an avid bingo player who rarely missed an opportunity to play — no matter what the weather. Funeral services will be conducted at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral
Home at 3 p.m Monday, March 17, 2003 with the Rev. Rex Lusk officiating. Burial in Madley Cemetery. The Bedford Inquirer, March 21, 2003.
