On August 14, 1896 he was united in marriage with Miss Minnie Selberg of Schaller. The marrlage
was blessed with five children, Frederick, who preceded in death in 1927, Edwin of Sac City, Otto, Henry and Estherof Schaller.
He is also survived by three brothers, Otto and Adolf of Kiel, Wis. and Herman of Franklin, Wis. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
There are seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
August Stoelting was a member of Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church since coming to
the Schaller community in 1892.
He served for many years as deacon and also as elder of the congregation.
Mr. Stoelting moved to Schaller with his family in 1951. He passed away at his home on Sunday
morning, March 1, 1959. He had reached the age of 95 years.
