Paul Parker was one of 11 children born to Edward L. Parker, Sr. and Catherine Byrne Parker.

In birth order: Margaret, Joan, Edward, Jr., Catherine, Robert, Paul, Virginia, Philip, Mary Anne, Geraldine, and Richard.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during Korean War, as a cook.

He married Georganne Zeller on October 6, 1956, in Chicago. The couple soon moved to Long Beach, California, where they had two sons, Lawrence "Larry", and James "Jim", plus another son George Edward Parker, who was stillborn on February 9, 1963.

The family of four moved back to the Chicgo area about the Spring of 1964. They soon had two more children, Andrew "Andy", and Suzanne, "Sue".

Paul worked Fall, Winter, and Spring as a stationary engineer at the Corkery grade school (and others) in Chicago. His main task was apparently controlling and operating the old heating equipment in the building.

Paul and Georganne divorced about 1980. Paul married Marilyn Vaughan on May 2, 1987, near Chicago.
