My Aunt Ann was born to Ernest Samuel Duty and Hattie SIMMONS Duty in Coahoma County, Mississippi.

Aunt Ann's family moved to Rosedale, Boliver County, Mississippi and her school years began in the Rosedale School System. Her family later moved back to Missouri where they had originally lived.

She was the granddaughter of James G.A. Duty and Littia Anna WHITLOCK Duty and maternal grandparents, Jefferson Simmons and Sarah ISSACKS Simmons.

She died at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was married for 38 years to Ed Taticek.

She was survived by her husband, one sister, one brother, and many, many nieces and nephews and is greatly missed.

She was cremated and a memorial service was held on June 26, 2005 in Jackson, Missouri.

Aunt Ann was much loved and is missed by all who knew her.
