Died at Dodge City Regional Hospital. He married Freda Schubert July 12, 1940 at Mercier, Brown county, Kansas. He was a retired agricultural salesman. He moved to Dodge City in 1947. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Survivors include his wife; brothers Walter and Ralph, both of Hiawatha; Floyd of Horton; sisters Mrs. Thelma McClaskey and Mrs. Wilma Winkelbauer of Horton; Mrs. Phyllis Sturm of Denton, and Mrs. Patricia Christie of Topeka. Rosary at Burkhart Funeral Home, Dodge City. Funeral at the church. Burial at Greencrest Memorial Gardens.
