He was united in marriage to Mary Beach in November 1915. To this union was born one daughter. His wife passed away in December of 1918.
Mr. Aurand moved to this part of the country, and remained here the rest of his life.
Lester Aurand was united in marriage to Pauline Griffith on December 18, 1935. To this union three daughters and two sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mary, three brothers, Fern, Morris and Lee; and one sister, Mabel.
Left to mourn his departure are his wife; four daughters; Mrs. Clayton Kramer (Kathryn) of Dunkirk, O., Mrs. Darryl Day (Thelma) of Rockford, Ill., Miss Vera Aurand of Monument, Kan., and Mrs. Junior Leece (Marian), Longview, Wash,; two sons, Clarence of Hardy and Raymond of the home; one sister, Mrs. Ware Cure of Sundance, Wyo., 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home in Hardy, Neb., Rev. LeMond officiating. Interment was in the Rosemound (sic) cemetery (sic).
