Jennie came from Kansas with her parents in the early 1890's first to Oregon and then California. In 1910, Jennie and Harry were living in Portland, Oregon, with her sister Florence and brother-in-law Roly Hendricks. Harry was a butcher.
By 1911 they were back in California.

Jennie died unexpectedly of heart failure. According to family knowledge she was buried in Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery - in an unmarked grave in the family plot.
