Mrs. LUCINDA (GAUT) JOHNSON was the daughter of Tom Gaut and Mrs. Mattie (Carraway) Gaut.

She was the wife of Richard Johnson Jr.

Obituary
"Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Red Oak Methodist Church for Mrs. Lucinda Johnson, of Route 2, Box 172, Hallsville, who died April 30 at her home. The Rev. F.E. Johnson will conduct the rites with burial in Red Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Rambo Funeral Home. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gaut. Survivors include eight sons, Gotha Johnson, of Fort Worth, Luther Johnson, Eziah Johnson, Lucilious Johnson and Robert Johnson, all of Dallas, Iziah Johnson, of Huntsville, and Otha Johnson, of Marshall; six daughters, Mrs. Kaola Smith, Mrs. Jeanette Andrews, Miss Ola M. Johnson and Miss Alice Johnson, all of Dallas, Mrs. Mamie Jackson, of Fort Worth, and Miss Carrie Johnson, of Hallsville; four brothers, Joe L. Gaut, Preston Gaut, Alex Gaut, all of Marshall, and Frank Gaut, of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Strolger, Mrs. Corine Johnson and Mrs. Henrietta Collier, all of Marshall; and 45 grandchildren."
