Red Oak Burial --
RICHARD JOHNSON JR., 54, of Route 2, Hallsville, died Monday at Marshall Memorial Hospital. Services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Red Oak Methodist Church. Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery. The body is at Rambo Funeral Home.

A native of Harrison County, he was born August 14, 1908. He attended Red Oak School, and he worked at Atlas Chemical Industries. He was a member of the Red Oak Methodist Church and the Masonic Order.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucinda Gaut Johnson; his parents; six daughters, Mrs. Kaola Lanette Smith, Mrs. Jeanetta Delois Andrews, both of Dallas, Mrs. Mamie Lois Jackson, of Fort Worth, and Ola Mae Johnson, Alice Faye Johnson and Carrie Bell Johnson, all of Hallsville; nine sons, Richard Johnson III, of Houston, Gotha Johnson, Luther Johnson, Eziah Johnson and Lucilious Johnson, all of Dallas, Iziah Johnson, of Longview, and Otha Johnson, Ezell Turner, both of Marshall, and Robert James Johnson, of Hallsville; and three grandchildren."
