Leesville - Mrs. Lilla Langford, 85, of Leesville, died Thursday at the Greenville General Hospital. Mrs. Langford was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Enoch and Cornelia Adams Swygert. Survivors include three sons, Enoch M. of Rock Hill, J. C. of Orangeburg and T. J. Langford of Brevard, N.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Belle Stevens of Columbia, Mrs. Sallie Poole of Rock Hill and Mrs. Sarah Sizemore of Greenville; one brother, Johnny Swygert of Leesville, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Gilbert. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday from Cedar Grove Lutheran Church by the Rev. Miles T. Cullum and the Rev. Jesse M. Hill. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anglo, Gurney, Marvin, Deward, and Melvin Swygert, Johnny and Shaw Langford and Yoda Bedenbaugh. The body will be at the Barr Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2:15 p.m. Sunday. The family will be at Mrs. Lucille Langford's. © The State, Columbia, SC, 15 Dec 1962
