MRS. VIOLET K. STAHLMAN
Mrs. Violet K. Stahlman, 80, of the Allegany County Nursing Home, formerly of Cash Valley Road, Corriganville, died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hyndman, Pa., on Oct. 17, 1906, she was a daughter of the late William and Martha (Miller) Kirchner. Her husband, Clyde Stahlman, died May 6, 1965.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn D. Combs, Cumberland; two foster daughters, Mrs. Betty Bennett, Cash Valley Road, and Mrs. Martha Stahlman, Hyndman; one step-son, Clarence Stahlman, Hyndman; one step-daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Hillebrecht, Cumberland; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Deneen, Cairnbrook, Pa., and two grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Harvey H. Ziegler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted there Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon. Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
