John N. Kirchner, 73, a former local resident who was a patient at the Donahue Manor Nursing Home in Bedford, died September 12, 1984, at Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Born at Hyndman RD 1, Jan. 15, 1911, he was a son of the late William W. Kirchner and Martha Ann (Miller) Kirchner. He was a retired laborer for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a former member of the Hyndman Christian Church. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Violet Stahlman, Corriganville, Md.; Mrs. Bertha Logsdon, Hyndman RD 1; Mrs. Bessie Deneen, Cairnbrook. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services were conducted at the funeral home by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon. Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
