ROMNEY —Archie E Loy Sr., 69 of here, died Saturday in a hospital in Wheeling. Born at Romney he was a son of the late David J. and Margaret (Ganoe) Loy. His wife, Grace E. (Basseli) Loy preceded him in death. Mr. Loy was a retired employee of the Fairfax (VA.)County Board of Education. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Wheeling.
Surviving are a son, Archie E. Loy Jr., Oakdale, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Georgia R. Roth, Wheeling: a sister. Mrs. Grace V. Hines, Romney; a brother. James Loy, Piedmont; a half sister Mrs. Lola Davies of here; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body will be returned to the Wells-Miller Funeral Home where friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Wednesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Norman Landis. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
