Romney - William Riley Loy, 68, of here, died Saturday in Baker VA Center, Martinsburg, where he had been a patient since last Tuesday.
Born in Hampshire County, he was a son of the late David J. and Nancy (Hott) Loy. Mr Loy was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by five half-brothers, Archie and John Loy, both of Wheeling; James Loy, Piedmont; Roy Loy, Beryl and George Loy, Piedmont; three half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Barnes and Mrs. Grace Hines, both of here, and Mrs. Ethel Farner, Alexandria, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Combs Funeral Home where services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. by Rev. Warren Shields, pastor of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
