KEYSER, W. Va. – James S. Loy, 83, of RD 1, here, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. Born April 19, 1903, in Hampshire County, he was a son of the late David J . Loy and Margaret Ann (Ganoe) Loy.
He was a retired Westvaco employee and a member of the Luke Local No. 676, AFL-CIO. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Keyser.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel S. (Malcolm) Loy, two sons, Ronald C. Loy, here, James L. Loy, Oxford, Pa ; two daughters, Mrs. Verda C. Bradford, Orting, Wash., Mrs. Mary M. Cook, Morgantown. W Va.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Hines, Romney, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck Funeral Home, here, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m.at the First Baptist Church by interim Pastor Dan Walker and Pastor Homer L. Beeman. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
