Romney-Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Loy, 45, wife of Archie E. Loy, Wheeling, died yesterday in a hospital there. She had been ill four years.
A former resident of Romney, Mrs Loy was a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Gunion Allison, of Wheeling and the late John Bassell.
She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church of Wheeling.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elmer R. Ross, Sherrard, W. Va.; a son, Archie E. Loy Jr., Wheeling; three brothers, William E. Bassell, San Antonio, Texas; Charles B. Bassell, Pittsburgh, and Albert Bassell, Wheeling; two sisters, Mrs Ada May Maxwell, Wheeling, and Mrs. Martha Jane Guthrie, San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Keplinger Funeral Home in Wheeling where a service will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m.
The body will then be brought to the Combs Funeral Home here where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev. Irvin Mason Sr., pastor of the Romney Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
