Mrs. Lou Woods Services Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Arabella Woods, 75, lifelong resident of this district, who passed away at the familiy home near Farmington Tuesday night, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Heslop funeral home. Rev Kenneth White, pastor of the U. P. church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Weeks cemetery.
Death was attributed to complications due to advanced age. She had been ill about two years.
Mrs. Woods was born near Farmington in 1861, a descendant of one of the earliest families in this district. She is survived by her husband, William A. Woods, and the following children: Mrs. Wallace Weatherson, Mt Pleasant; Miss Blance Woods, this city, Mrs. Ralph Gorsuch, Mt Pleasant, Mrs. Edwin Bailey, Colerain, Lee Woods, Scotch Ridge, Adam Jesse and Ellis Woods, all of this city, 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The following sisters and brothers also survive: Henry Devault, Martins Ferry, Clyde and Frank Devault, Bridgeport, Moses Devault, of this city, Mrs. George Tice, of this city, Mrs. John Graham, Alliance, and Mrs John Graham [sic], Akron.
