Mary was born 19 Sep 1871 to Casper and Caroline Custer. She married 13 Sep 1890 to Fred (Fridolin) Ruedy, to which union were born four children: Fred, Louis, Alma, and Marie. After Fred's death and their children were raised, Mary remarried on 15 Sep 1917 to John DeJuren. John DeJuren was the widower of Fred Ruedy's sister Mary.
