HE MARRIED OLA MARY LAFOLLETTE ON 22 SEP 1934 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: LEONARD, THOMAS, VIRGINIA H, DOTTIE MAE, VIOLA MARGARET, KENNETH H, MARY ELIZABETH AND DANA W.

WILLIAM HOLLY GILREATH WAS THE SIBLING OF EVERETTE G, LEONARD, EMILY, MARGIE, RUTH H, CARTER PAUL, ROBERT ANDERSON, MARTHA JANE, BUNA VISTA AND MARGARET LENORE GILREATH.

SURGOINSVILLE – William Holly Gilreath, 59, of Route 1, Surgoinsville, was dead on arrival at Holston Valley Community Hospital Sunday evening following an automobile accident.

He was a member of the Oak Dale Baptist Church, the Clay Masonic Lodge No. 385, the Shriners, the Knoxville Consistory, Scottish Rite, and was an employee of Tennessee Eastman Company for the past 25 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ola Gilreath; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Hammonds, Mrs. Viola Anderson, Miss Dollie Gilreath, and Miss Elizabeth Gilreath, all of Surgoinsville; four sons, Thomas Gilreath of Church Hill, Leonard Gilreath of Beltsville, Md., Kenneth Gilreath of the U. S. Army, and Dana Gilreath of Surgoinsville; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Blair, Mrs. Marie Rutledge, Mrs. Martha Crawford, Mrs. Ruth Armstrong, and Mrs. Margaret Wallen, all of Surgoinsville; three brothers, Everette Gilreath of Church Hill and Paul Gilreath and Bob Gilreath, both of Surgoinsville; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Oak Dale Baptist Church, with Rev. Dana Crawford and Rev. Dewey Ramey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites at the graveside.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home.
