Mrs. Robert Kaiser, 67, of 524 Fremont St., Kiel, died at home Wednesday evening. She had been ill for the past several weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Vernon Jaberg will officiate and burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
Born Sylvia Popp Aug. 4, 1892, at Elkhart Lake, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Anna Hart Popp. She received her education in the Elkhart Lake Public schools and is a graduate of Elkhart High School. She was married
to Mr. Kaiser of the Town of Schleswig, Feb. 28, 1912, and the couple operated a farm near Milhome until 1941 when it moved to Kiel. He is a retired employe of Tri-County Cooperative, Kiel.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Wallace of Elkhart Lake and Robert Jr., of Kiel; two brothers, Albert of Elkhart Lake and Henry of Kiel; and nine grandchidren. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state from noon until the time of service.
