ELKHART LAKE – It is with sorrow that we again report the death of one of our young men. John Popp died Friday, Dec. 20th, from the effects of influenza, at the age of 30 years, 6 months and 2 days.
Deceased was born in Elkhart Lake and leaves to mourn his untimely death his wife and two children, besides his parents Mr. and Mrs. E. Popp, 3 brothers, Albert, Henry and Louis, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Robert Kaiser of Millhome and Elfrieda at home.
The funeral took place Tuesday from St. John’s church, with burial in the village cemetery. Our most heartfelt sympathy goes to the bereaved wife, children, parents, brothers and sisters.
