Frieda Dozark, 85, of Lamont, died Tuesday, Feb.11, 2003, in Regional Medical Center, Manchester, after a short illness. Services were held Friday, Feb. 14, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Jack Paisley. Burial was in St. Albert's Cemetery, east of Lamont. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Dozark of Lamont; three grandsons, Steve (Tiffany) Beevers of Cedar Rapids, Dan (Bev) Beevers of Manchester and Wally (Kathy) Beevers of Spring Valley, Minnesota; five great grandchildren, Jake, Will, Kaylee, Cole and Thomas; two sister, Mildred Cree of Waterloo and Margaret Steele of Central City; a sister-in-law, Ila Helms of Strawberry Point; and a brother-in-law, Leroy Rule of Dundee. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Volkman Helms; her husband, Albert; her daughter, Joann Beevers; two sisters, Della Rule and Lillian Wessels; and three brothers, Albert, George and Bernia Helms.
