Funeral services for William Henry Groh 83, of R.R. 4, Fremont,
were held at the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant Wednesday, March 15. Mr. Groh passed away at Gerber Memorial Hospital, Fremont,
March 12. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery at Newberry, MI
He was born November 25, 1883 in Jackson and Married Bernice DeBois on August 17, 1945 in Traverse City.
Survivors include his wife and 11 children by a former marriage.
There are 5 sons: Dr. George Groh of Mississippi; William and Virgil of Newberry; Floyd of Charlevoix; and Everett of Detroit; six daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Peck of East Jordan, Mrs. Marcella Ford and Mrs. Florence Caswell of Newberry; Mrs. Frances McPherson of Walloon Lake; Mrs. Melvina Barker of Kalamazoo; and Mrs. Violet Fauble of Cadillac; 55 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
