Barker was born January 4, 1915 in Pellston, MI. On May 10, 1945 in Chicago, IL she married Kenneth Barker. He preceded her in death March 4, 1986.
Barker lived in Lansing until 1986, when she moved to Mt. Pleasant. Survivors include: one daughter, Debra Worden, of Mt. Pleasant; four brothers: George Groh, MS; William and Virgil Groh of Newberry and Floyd Groh; four sisters: Mrs. Violet Fauble, Cadillac; Mrs. Marcella
Ford and Florence Caswell of Newberry; and Frances McPherson.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 at the Forest Home Cemetery.
