Beatrice Anne Peck, 83, of East Jordan, died Dec. 19, 1989,
at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the Paullin Funeral
Home, East Jordan. The Rev. Wesley Norton will officiate and
interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
The former Beatrice Anne Groh was born Oct. 20, 1906, in
Cross Village, the daughter of William and Anna L. (Tyler) Groh.
On Nov. 15, 1924, she married Ora H. Peck in Newberry.
He preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1984.
Mrs. Peck was a member of the Jassamine Rebekah Lodge No.
365. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include: a son Floyd and his wife Kay Peck of Boyne
City; a son Robert and his wife Norma Peck of Walloon Lake, a
son Don and his wife Virginia Peck of East Jordan; a daughter
Leona and her husband Charlie Stanek of East Jordan; 20 grand-
children; 35 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Groh of
Newberry, George Groh of Mississippi, Virgil Groh of Newberry,
and Floyd Groh of Charlevoix; five sisters, Mrs. Clark (Violet)
Fauble of Cadillac, Mrs. Lester (Florence) Caswell of Newberry,
Melvina Barker of Mt. Pleasant, Frances McPherson of Walloon
Lake and Mrs. Rolland (Marcella) Ford of Newberry; many
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Visitation begins 3 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Paullin Funeral
Home.
