Mrs. Dorothy Fox died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Walters, near Brock, Monday, October 24, aged 91 years. She had been in frail health for a number of years, having fallen eight years ago and fractured her hip, since which time she had been confined to her bed. Mrs. Fox was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haines, deceased, and was born near Kirby, October 15, 1820, and lived in that community all her life where she was well known by her friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. She was united in marriage with John Fox, whose death occurred fourteen years ago. She is survived by eight sons and daughters: Eli, Taylor and William Fox, of Kirby; Luther Fox, of Morgantown, W. Va.; C. C. Fox, of Morrisville; Daily Fox, of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. John L. (Jane) Walters, of Brock, and Mrs. George (Maggie) Patterson, of Waynesburg. One brother also survives, C. C. Haines, of Plano, Iowa.
