PRICE - Clifford Smith, age 90, passed away April 26, 1998 in Price.
He was born March 17, 1908 in Elmo to Joseph and Estella Holt Smith. Married Hazel Kanstanaux; later divorced.
Member Methodist Church. Former employee of Lion Coal at Wattis. Lifelong resident of Carbon and Emery counties where he was engaged in ranching for many years. Retired member UMWA Local 6363. He will be dearly missed by the many youths he befriended during his life.
Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Hazel Leon Cooper; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services Thursday, April 30, 2 p.m., Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment Elmo City Cemetery.
