I was born in Columbus, OH, raised in south-eastern Ohio, Although my parents were not born in OH. I can trace my early ancestors to the early pioneers of Ohio. My interest in finding my ancestral roots began at an early age. I was the child who always wanted to know where my grandparents grandparents came from. Unsatisfactory answers from my older relatives only fueled my desire. That urge to uncover the past really came alive during a conversation with my Grandmother Freda Neal. I had been asking about her grandmother, mother and her mother's half-brother. She just kept telling me that I didn't want to know, not to let the skeletons out of the closet. That only fueled the flames higher and here I am nearly 2000 related individuals and years of research later, still have not gotten that question answered.
I have been researching my family lines and those of my in-laws for 20 plus years. Most family functions you'll find me with camera and notebook in hand.
I am married to a wonderful husband and we are parents to 4 sons and grandparents to 1 boy and 2 girls.
My interests and hobbies also include reading, crocheting, knitting, biking, watching the History Channel
