Charles Finnell (1762-1842) is buried outside the village of Mount Airy in Randolph County, Missouri. Born in Orange County, Virginia, he served as a teenager in Washington's army and was present at the British surrender at Yorktown. Later, as a Baptist preacher, he helped found churches in both Kentucky and Missouri.
I am one of Charles Finnell's many descendants.
Please contact me if you'd like to swap info or to correct biographies I may have gotten wrong.
I will happily transfer ownership of memorials of folks I'm not closely related to. Let me know.
