Mrs. Ada B. Curd, aged 65 years, died Saturday morning at the home of her brother, Mr. John Burgin. She was a splendid woman with many noble characteristics and had been for years a consistent member of the Christian church. Her funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Burgin Christian church, conducted by Rev. Roy Biser, the pastor, assisted by Rev. R. N. Simpson, and the interment was in Spring Hill Cemetery in this city. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Everett Elliott, of Kansas City; three sisters, Mrs. N. B. Jones, Misses Hannah and Alice Burgin, and a brother, Mr. John Burgin.
