Cynthia Anne Stoner, life-long resident of Porter county, died at 1:15 Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter D. Woolley, 107 Brown avenue.
She was eighty-six years of age and the widow of the late Albert Stoner. The decedent was born in Morgan township, Porter county, on June 5, 1857, a daughter of Hiram and Mary Dille.
She was united in marriage to Albert Stoner on May 29, 1878. To this union were born four children, Vernon A. and William B. Stoner, both deceased; Mrs. Tillie Kimerer, who resided with her mother on the farm south of Valparaiso, and Mrs. Walter D. Woolley, of this city. She also leaves to mourn her loss, four grandchildren, Lieut. Jack Stoner, somewhere in England; Corp. Lewis Stoner, in India; Joseph C. Kimerer, U.S.C.G., Wilmington, Delaware, and Mrs. Pauline Rankin, of Lubbock, Texas; one great-grandchild, Olive Rankin, Lubbock, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Deltha Stoner, of this city.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the LePell funeral home on Monroe street.
Friends may call at the LePell funeral home from 2 p.m., Sunday and up until time of the services.
