Death of Hiram Dille.
Hiram Dille, living south of Valparaiso, died Saturday afternoon, aged 85 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Salem church, and interment in the Adams cemetery. The deceased leaves a wife and twelve children who are Luther, Wesley, Hiram Dille jr., Mrs. Cynthia Stoner, Mrs. Martha Cobb and Mrs. Adephia Stoner, all Valparaiso; John Dille of Chesterton, Mrs. Linda Andrews of Michigan, Mrs. May Johnson of Kansas, Mrs. Sarah Agnew and Cornelius Dille of Iowa, and Sylvester Dille of Colorado.
Hiram Dille was born in Morgan county, Iowa, July 27, 1812, and later moved to Delaware county, this state. He moved to Porter county in 1846.
