Miss Minnie Guthrie, 84, of Pleasant Hill, died in Illini Hospital in Pittsfield, Tuesday night, February 21. Funeral services will be held in the Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Thursday afternoon at 2 with the Rev. Sam Dunham officiating. Burial will be in Crescent Heights Cemetery. Miss Guthrie was born at Pleasant Hill, Sept. 21, 1883, a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Windmiller Guthrie. She was employed as a bookkeeper in Citizen's State Bank for many years and had been a resident of Pleasant Hill her whole life. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are one brother, Frank Guthrie of Pleasant Hill, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Capps of Pittsfield and Mrs. Grace Kennedy of Pleasant Hill.
