Miss Mattie Guthrie passed away at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sarah Guthrie, Tuesday afternoon, July 8, 1930, at five o'clock. Death was caused by infection.
She was born at Pleasant Hill, Illinois, April 26, 1875, and was the daughter of Henry and Sarah Guthrie.
She is survived by her mother, two brothers, John and Frank; five sisters; Mrs. George Galloway, Mrs. Henry Goff, Ms. Wm. Goff, and Misses Nora Minnie and Grace Guthrie.
Funeral services were conducted at the home, Wednesday afternoon July 9th at 3 o'clock. Interment was in the Crescent Heights Cemetery.
