Mr. Creighton was born in Ireland and emigrated to Canada after he attained manhood's estate. There were born to this couple thirteen children all of whom are alive and eleven were present at the funeral. The services were conducted at the Catholic church under the directions of Father Carroul. The remains were interred in the Belleville cemetery and a large concourse of neighbors were present. Mr. Creighton was highly esteemed by all his neighbors and old time friends. For 14 years he had been totally blind which added to the infirmities of old age. The family are well known and highly respected and they have many warm sympathizing friends in this their hour of affliction.
