Mary Alice Horine was born in Dallas, Texas on Dec. 30, 1926 and passed away on Aug. 17, 2012.

She married Charles Tingle Feb. 8, 1945. Charles, born Nov. 2, 1923, died Sept. 28, 1973, and was buried in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria.

Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII. Mary and Charlie lived in the West Alexandria area and had three sons, Mike Tingle, Patrick Tingle and Kris Tingle.

Mary and Charlie operated a beauty shop in West Alexandria for several years and also had a bait and archery shop. After Charlie's death from an aneurysm suffered at church while giving the testimony of his salvation he experienced a few years before, Mary, Pat and Kris moved to Dallas, Texas where Mary attended Christ For the Nations Bible College. Mike stayed in Ohio, married and after two years in the military, relocated to Indiana. Pat and Kris each married and stayed in Texas.

After being a widow for about fifteen years, Mary was married April 14, 1988 to Murray Davenport, born Jan. 1, 1912. He died November 30, 2000.

Mary Alice is survived by her children with Charles Tingle: Charles Michael Tingle (Dorenda Kay Deisher); Patrick Alan Tingle (Wanda); Kris Alan Tingle (Robin Spiva); grandchildren Stephanie Lynne Tingle (Bill Scott), James Christopher Tingle (Diane Davis), Heather Nicole Tingle (J.T. Cooper), Beth Ann Tingle (Edward Eugene Barber), Tiffany Gail Tingle, Brittany Heather Tingle, Clayton Avery Tingle, Joshua Ezra Tingle (Lynn Grayburn), Holly Anne Tingle (Chris Wheeler), Heidi Alyssa Tingle; great-grandchildren Danielle Lynne Faulkenberg, Andrew Douglas Faulkenberg, Autumn Nicole Faulkenberg, Lillian Kay Scott, Corbin James Tingle, Clayton Joseph Tingle, Cloe Elizibeth Hanson, Christian Thomas Tingle, Claire Juliet Grayburn-Tingle. She is also survived by sisters Jean Dehart and Doris Clark of Eaton, Thelma Agne of Battlecreek, Michigan, and Joan Schultz of Palmetto, Florida.

Mary Alice was cremated and her ashes will be brought to Ohio and inurned at Preble Memory Gardens, where her late husband Charles Tingle is buried.
