MRS. J. A. BRYAN IS DEAD HERE
Succumbed to Attackof Pneumonia At Her Home
MRS. RUTH BRYAN, aged 37, wife of J. A Bryan, of Bryan & Gamble contractors, died this morning at 7 o'clock at her home, 812 Bradshaw avenue, of pneumonia. Mrs. Bryan was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, where she resided during her girlhood days. Fourteen years ago she was married to Mr. Bryan and since then has resided in East Liverpool. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and of the Young Women's Missionary society of the church.
Surviving in addition to the husband is one daughter, Miss Virginai Bryan, aged 8 years; the mother, Mrs. Caroline Beckelheim of Portsmourth, and three half brothers.
Private funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Bryan home, by Rev. D. W. McLeod of the First Presbyterian church. The body will be shipped to Salem where brief services will be held at the home of Mrs. Sarah Bryan, the husband's mother, after which interment will be made in Grandview cemetery, Salem. Friends may view the body Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Bryan home in East Liverpool.
