Felix was one of eleven children of John and Anna Lesniewski of Toledo. A carpenter by trade, he resided at his parents' home at 332 Everett St. The car that he was driving collided with another car at Chestnut and Dexter Streets in north Toledo. Felix was thrown from his car. The newspaper article(Toledo Blade, December 3, 1931) about the accident read: "The car overturned on Mr. Lesniwski and then righted inself." It is unclear if the overturned car was that of Felix or the other car involved in the crash. The other driver and his passenger were not injured. Felix was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital. The death certificate states that the cause of death was a "fractured skull." Felix was single.
