Ben served honorably in the Navy as an Seabee during WWII, with the rating of SF1 (Shipfitter First Class).
Met Thelma L. Bosh at Bud & Luke's Resturant in Toledo, Ohio where she was working as a waitress. They married and had two children, Benedict Claude Lesniewski and Mary Ann Ratliff nee Lesniewski. He build Mom's dream house at 221 E. Manhattan Blvd., Toledo, Ohio where they both lived til they died!
He was great Husband, Wonderful Father, Good Provider and a Good Friend to all that knew him. And the Bestist GRAMPA TO Hidi Ja Ratliff, who has also passed on 8/16/1987 in NorthWest Flight 255. They are together again!
