Died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1986, at his residence in Prairieville. He was 57, a native of New Orleans and resident of Prairieville. He was a retired electrician and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ed Bledsoe. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Linda Carol Laird, Valley Stream, N.Y.; two sons, David Allen Laird, Valley Stream, N.Y. and Maximillian Laird; a sister, Annie Laurie Guitreau, Prairieville; a brother, Jerry Wayne Laird, Brookhaven, Miss.; and a grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, Maxie and Ola Moak Laird Sr. He was a member of V.F.W., Zachary Taylor Post No. 3784.
