Mrs. Mary C. Pries, 80, widow of Christopher Pries, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Klein, 109 Harrison Street, Carrollton. Mary C Heidenreich was born August 29, 1847, in Germany and was married there November 23, 1869, to Mr. Pries.. In 1872, they came to America, direct to Saginaw. Mr. Pries died May 21, 1912. She was a member of Bethlehem Church, surviving are five children, Charles J Pries, Mrs. Emma Niemann and Mrs. John Klein, Carrollton, Mrs. Ernest Winter, Saginaw, and Mrs. Fred Hays, Chicago, eight-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. Klein, in Carrollton, and at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Rev. Andrew Zeile will officiate and burial will be in Forest Lawn.
