TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Margaretta M. (Keating) Bartlett aged 64 of Tewksbury, formerly of Somerville died May 6, 1960. Margaretta or Gretta as she was affectionately known as by friends and family was born on January 8, 1896 in Clonmel, Ireland the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Hayde) Keating, Gretta was raised in Ireland and came to this country at the age of 20 in 1916. Mrs. Bartlett was a communicant of Saint Williams Catholic Church in Tewksbury.

Gretta is survived by her husband Mr. Alexander J. Bartlett of Tewksbury, she also leaves two sons Mr. Walter B. Jensen and his wife Virginia (Patenaude) of Westford, and Mr. George J. Bartlett and his wife Eleanor L. (Cocco) of Tewksbury. In addition Gretta leaves four grandchildren, Bernard Jensen, Richard Jensen, Jean Bartlett, and Albert Bartlett.

Gretta was also the mother of Corporal Albert J. Jensen Jr, who was killed in action in World War II.

Gretta also leaves her first husband Albert J. Jensen of Townsend, and a brother Walter Keating of England.

Gretta was also the sister of the late Mary Bodkin of Chicago IL, Patrick Keating of Wales, Bridget Keating of Ireland, Anna Smith of Chicago IL, Thomas Keating of Elgin IL, John Keating of Chicago IL, George Keating of Wales, Pierce Keating of Ireland, Gerald Keating of Wales, and James Keating of Ireland.

Burial will take place in the family lot at Tewksbury Cemetery, after a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Williams Church, Tewksbury.
