He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Dufour Rabalais; five sons, Ferdie P. Rabalais, Charles Leo Rabalais, Edward Rabalais, Jeffry Rabalais, all of Simmesport, and John Burton Rabalais of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Mrs. Florien Jeansonne of Livonia, Mrs. Edwards Admas of Lettsworth, Mrs. J.L. Clark of Florida, Miss Rhonda Rabalais of Simmesport; a brother, Hilton W. Rablais of Echo; a sister, Mrs. Eddie Couvillion of Pineville; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today in Christ the King Catholic church in Simmesport at requiem high mass with Reverends Lawrence Bonin and Alfred Chlebowczyk officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura.
