Mr. Rabalais, 68, of Simmesport, died at 5:00 p.m., Sun., Jan. 16, 2000 at Veterans Affairs Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1931, a native of Simmesport, son of Leo and Minnie Rabalais.
Survivors include wife, Bernice L. Rabalais of Simmesport; two sons, Ferdie P. Rabalais, Jr. and Christopher J. Rabalais both of Simmesport; two daughters, Norma Adams of Simmesport and Jackie Bonnette of Marksville; one brother, Edward Rabalais of Barrows, Alaska; three sisters, Della Adams, Kathryn Clark and Leona Jeansonne all of Simmesport; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bruce Adams, Jeffrey Clark, Peter Ray Guillot, Johnny Ray Jeansonne, Michael Rabalais, Adam Schrock and Ronald Williams.
